Passenger traffic at Ontario International Airport continued to decline in September, and the number of people flying into and out of Inland Southern California’s largest airport is down significantly on the year, a report released Friday found.
A little more than 339,000 passengers used the airport’s two terminals in September, a 5.8 percent decrease from September 2011, according to a report by Los Angeles World Airports, which owns ONT. For the first nine months of the year more than 3.2 million passengers used the airport, 5.6 percent fewer than the same period in 2011.
